2021 Restaurant Week is just around the corner! Scheduled to take place from September 15th to October 10th, 2021, this year will be the 17th edition of Restaurant Week. Held at a variety of top restaurants located in Banderas Bay in Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit, this exciting culinary event is organized by Vallarta Lifestyles Media Group. In addition, the Public Trust for the Promotion and Tourist Advertising of Puerto Vallarta and the Riviera Nayarit Conventions and Visitors Bureau also support Restaurant Week. 2021 Puerto Vallarta Restaurant Week
Since its inaugural event back in 2004, Restaurant Week has been a great way for residents and visitors to enjoy incredible food at the area’s top restaurants. Participating restaurants prepare special three-course menus at reduced prices. The most prestigious restaurants in Banderas Bay are thrilled to participate in this important culinary event. As usual, Restaurant Week 2021 is sponsored by two companies that are well known in the regional and national restaurant industry, Cristalería del Pacífico and Vinoteca. Cristaleria del Pacifico is a Vallarta based company with more than 30 years of experience. They are one of the top distributors of restaurant supplies for restaurants and hotel chains. In addition, Vinoteca is a Mexican company that has more than 20 branches in the country. Since opening a location in 2015 in Puerto Vallarta, they sell high quality wines and spirits imported from all across the world.
Participating Restaurants
Restaurant Week 2021 special menus are designed with 3-course meals and there are a variety of choices available that cost 299, 399 and 466 pesos per person. Note that the special rates do not include drinks or tips. This year, Puerto Vallarta participating restaurants include Abbraccio Cucina Italiana, Arrecifes Seafood & Steakhouse, Azafrán, Basilio Comer & Beber, Café des Artistes, Casa 449, Di Vino Dante, Eclecticos Restaurante & Bar, Hacienda San Ángel Gourmet, IK Mixology Bar & Cuisine, Joe Jack’s Fish Shack, Kaiser Maximilian Restaurant & Café, La Cappella, La Leche, Le Kliff, Makal, Mikado, Opa Greek Bistro, Serrano’s Meat House, Sonora House, The Iguana Restaurant & Tequila Bar and Trattoria Di Nuovo. In addition, Riviera Nayarit participating restaurants include LOMA 42 BAHÍA, Mark’s Bar & Grill, Sabal Playa, Ocean Club and Casual Dining, Sandrina’s Cocina Mediterránea/Griega, Tuna Blanca and Venazú.
COVID Safety Protocols
This year, participating restaurants have implemented numerous health and safety protocols to keep diners safe during the COVID pandemic. Restaurants are making sure to provide a safe and clean space for people to enjoy a wonderful meal. Social distancing, the use of temperature checking, antibacterial gel, and the use of facemasks indoors are recommended. By all working together, we can still make sure to have quality moments enjoying a nice meal with loved ones.
