PV Restaurant Week Since 2005

PV Restaurant Week was created after cities around the world began hosting their own Restaurant Weeks with huge success. As a result, the first Puerto Vallarta Restaurant Week occurred in 2005 and was warmly received by the local community. Ever since, this annual event has enthralled Puerto Vallarta residents and vacationers alike who find themselves lucky enough to be in town during the event. From May 15th to June 10th, skip the cooking and cleaning at home and head to the most coveted restaurants in the area. One of the top choices to try during Restaurant Week, Blanca Blue serves Mexican Avant Garde inspired cuisine that strives to celebrate the culinary arts with beautiful presentation and mind blowing flavors. The Garza Blanca Preserve Resort & Spa is a naturally beautiful setting where you can enjoy lovely ocean views as you dine. Blanca Blue is a contemporary gourmet restaurant that thrives on experimentation, cutting-edge techniques and uses on the best quality local products. During Restaurant Week at Blanca Blue, you can choose 1 item each from 3 choices of appetizers, main courses and desserts. Appetizer choices include Molotes Istmeños, Tetela de Pulpo, and Picada which is a skirt steak salad with avocado, cream sauce and tortilla stripes. For the main course, you can try Zarandeado fish, Oaxacan Mole, or Seared Tuna with grasshopper crust, hibiscus sauce and sweet potato pureé. Last, but not least, dessert choices include Pumpkin Mousse with cacao and vanilla ice cream, Light and Divine which is an apple ice cream with oatmeal dust, cardamon and eucalyptus cotton candy, or a sweet and savory cotija cheese flan with pork rind dust.
